We document what happened and what it will cost to put right. We do not negotiate on your behalf, and we will not inflate a scope to fit a payout.

- Where
- Porter Ranch, Sesnon Blvd
- Roof
- Asphalt shingle, 9 years old
- Why they called
- A December windstorm took shingles off the west elevation. First claim was denied as 'wear and tear'.
- What we found
- The denial was a documentation problem, not a coverage problem. Creased and lifted tabs across one elevation only, with the debris field still on the lot — that is wind, and it is datable.
- What we did
- Photographed the crease pattern, pulled the NWS wind record for that date, wrote the cause of loss, met the adjuster on the roof.
We were paid our normal price for the roof. We did not take a percentage of the settlement.
What is actually included
Every one of these is in the written price. None of it is an extra.
Before you call
No. It is insurance fraud in California and contractors who offer it are telling you what they are willing to do.
Not always. If the damage is close to your deductible a claim can cost you more in premium than it returns. We will tell you what we think and you decide.
Often it is a documentation problem rather than a coverage problem. We will look at the denial letter and tell you honestly whether it is worth appealing.
Most California policies require prompt notice, and one year to sue. Do not sit on it — but do get it documented properly first.
Free, within 48 hours.
Got it — we’ll call you today.
